During the tense years of the Cold War, a U.S. Navy pilot is sent on a highly classified mission that quickly takes an unexpected turn. After becoming stranded deep behind enemy lines, he finds himself cut off from his country and surrounded by dangers on every side. With enemy forces closing in and almost no chance of making it home alone, he is forced to rely on an unlikely ally. His only hope may be an eccentric former KGB agent whose unusual methods and mysterious past make him difficult to trust. Together, the two must overcome their differences, survive hostile territory, and find a way to escape before the mission ends in disaster.
